Founded in 1983 by Sophie Mirman and Richard P. Ross after Mirman said "People should be able to buy socks as easily as they buy newspapers.". Both pairs of socks are thickly padded with a densely brushed inner lining, which not only feels heavenly, but is superb at keeping warmth held around the feet, due in equal parts to the brushing porches and the thermal mix of fibres.
